Winter Continuous Cycle Ciclo Continuo d’Inverno – Mantua, a medieval small town in Northern Italy, is my hometown. I came back to it after many years living abroad. Of my past life I surely miss the metropolis’ hustle bustle and the anonymous crowd, but at present I enjoy the open view on three little lakes that literally surround the city and wandering in public parks on their shores. Winter Continuous Cycle is a perspective on these outdoors, where the city is a distant reality detectable by urban sounds and the skyline, with human presence only revealing itself through moving cars and thrown away garbage. In the meantime days and nights slowly alternate in the light and weather of winter.

Winter Continuous Cycle Ciclo Continuo d’Inverno – Mantova è una cittadina medioevale in Nord Italia, qui ci sono nato e cresciuto, e ora ci vivo dopo tanti anni passati all’estero. Della mia vita passata mi manca il ritmo e l’energia delle metropoli e la folla anonima, ma al momento apprezzo la vista aperta sui tre piccoli laghi che letteralmente circondano la città, e le lunghe camminate nei parchi sulle loro sponde. Winter Continuous Cycle è una prospettiva su questi spazi aperti, dove la città è una realtà distante di suoni e profili di case ed edifici, e l’uomo è presente solo come auto in movimento e spazzatura gettata nelle aree verdi. Nel frattempo i giorni si alternano lentamente alle notti nella luce e nel clima invernale.
